Where to look for the ones you have forgotten
The forgettable ones are rarely the big ones. Look for cloud storage, a second streaming service nobody uses, an app that went from free to paid, a magazine, a warranty, and anything that renews once a year in a month you are not thinking about it.
Your bank statement is the fastest way. Sort by amount and look for the same figure appearing every month, then check the ones you cannot immediately name.
Annual ones hide the best. A charge once every twelve months barely registers, but it spends exactly the same as a monthly one.
Then look at the groceries
Subscriptions are the quiet leak. The grocery bill is the loud one, and it usually has more in it.
